Stop the
Harassment

You have legal rights. We can help.

Since the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) was enacted over 40 years ago, consumers have been holding collection agencies accountable for their actions. Collection agencies are no longer able to use abusive or embarrassing tactics to collect an alleged debt.

Under the FDCPA, collection agencies cannot use tactics like contacting third parties about a debt, calling you at inconvenient hours, or falsely reporting your debt. If a debt collector has done one of these or any other act that violates the FDCPA, you may be eligible for up to $1,000 in damages.

It's best to contact a consumer rights attorney if you think a debt collector is violating the FDCPA while try to collect an alleged debt from you. An attorney can help make sure the abusive and harassing means stop. For more information on collection agencies that begin with Coa-Col, see below!
