According to PACER, on or around August 1, 2018, the attorney for an Indiana consumer wrote to R&B Corporation of Virginia to dispute a debt that he saw on his credit report. The following October, the consumer checked his credit report and saw that the debt was still there and not reported as disputed.

Feeling harassed by R&B Corporation of Virginia, he sued the agency for:
