Yes, KLS Financial Services is a legitimate collections company based out of North Carolina. The collection company specializes in collecting delinquent medical bills. KLS Financial Services is accredited by the BBB and has received an A+ rating from the BBB. According to the Better Business Bureau, the collection agency was incorporated in 2017 and has been accredited since 2018.

According to its website, KLS Financial Services by “tak[es] things beyond collections and find[s] a way to not only help clients, but help consumers as well.” Zoominfo.com reports that KLS Financial Services has a revenue of 7 million, and is managed by Chief Compliance Officer Brian Struzyk.

Who Does KLS Financial Services Collect For?

KLS Financial Services lists a variety of collection areas on their website including: a customized collections process, medical collections, commercial collections, and consumer financial assistance. Under the medical collections tab, the company explains that they work with doctors, chiropractors, dentists, and other medical – and healthcare-related service providers noting that “there are a handful of guidelines that medical practices must follow while collecting medical debts.” Additionally, under the commercial collections process, the company states that, “large, commercial companies will naturally have a lot more outstanding debt than smaller companies.”

KLS Financial Services does not explain their collections process, or their ability to follow professional guidelines on their website. The “planting seeds” tab of the company’s website provides a variety of articles regarding the company’s advice to consumers on how to be smarter about spending and budgeting. Additionally, the FAQ section instructs consumers to contact KLS regarding questions about bills, but there is no information provided regarding the company’s compliance with the requisite federal laws guiding collections practice.

How Many Complaints Are There Against KLS Financial Services?
