According to PACER, on or about March 30, 2009, Glenn Associates, Inc. sent a collection letter to a Massachusetts resident regarding an alleged education debt. The letter stated that he owed the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education $137.50 in unspecified “fees.”

Feeling harassed by Glenn Associates, Inc., the plaintiff hired a consumer attorney and sued the company for allegedly violating the FDCPA by using false, deceptive, and misleading means to collect a debt.

The matter was later dismissed.
