Are You Being Called By Dodeka, LLC?*

Debt can become overwhelming for a variety of reasons. People lose their jobs due to an event like COVID-19, experience disability, or get divorce and have to live on less than they did before. Unfortunately, the reasons rarely matter to collection agencies, which will go to extreme lengths to get their money.

Your Rights Under the FDCPA

The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act was passed to make the debt collection process more civil and professional. If a debt collector uses any of these methods to make you pay a credit card bill, you can sue.

  • Using profane and obscene language
  • Calling you abusive names
  • Calling at all hours of the day and night
  • Threatening you with wage garnishment
  • Asking why you don’t pay your bills
  • Contacting you instead of your attorney
