Are You Being Called By CRA Collections, Inc.?

When economic times are difficult, people everywhere can unwillingly default on their debts. Unfortunately, debt collectors often abuse those people to collect on the overdue balances. If you are mistreated in this manner, the good news is that you have legal remedies to make it stop.

Your Rights Under the FDCPA

The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, or FDCPA, enforces the rules that collection agencies must follow when collecting debts, and penalizes violations. Examples of acts that are illegal under the FDCPA include:

● Trying to get more money from you than you really owe
● Speaking to you in an abusive manner
● Calling your family and friends
● Calling you at work
● Threatening to sue you on a time-barred debt
● Threatening to garnish your wages
