She said that when she answered the calls, there would be a brief pause, lasting approximately three to five seconds, before someone spoke. The consumer repeatedly told the callers that she only wanted to be communicated with in writing, but the company allegedly kept calling her at work as well as on her cell phone and even contacted her family members.

Feeling harassed by Midwest Fidelity Services, LLC, she sued the company for:

  • Calling her after she ordered communication via letter only
  • Harassing her with an autodialer
  • Calling her at work
  • Contacting her family

The matter was later dismissed.
