Are You Being Called By KevMar Capital Corporation?*

If a debt collector is harassing you nonstop, it has the potential to ruin your life. People who owe less than $100 have been called several times a day, yelled at, and embarrassed in front of their friends and family.

If you end up being chased by a malicious collection agency, there are ways that you can bring the abuse to an end.

Your Rights Under the FDCPA

The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, or FDCPA, establishes guidelines that define consumer rights, regulates the ways that collection agencies may conduct business, and gives you the right to sue collection agencies that behave in the following ways:

  • Failing to send a debt validation package
  • Using profane and obscene language
  • Reporting false information to the credit bureaus
  • Telling people that you owe money
  • Leaving messages that don’t identify them as debt collectors
  • Calling you before 8:00 a.m. and after 9:00 p.m.

Feeling harassed by KevMar Capital Corporation, the consumer filed an FDCPA lawsuit against the agency for:

  • Using false, deceptive, and misleading means to collect a debt
