Records on file at the PACER (Public Access to Court Electronic Records) website reveal that consumers who believed they were being harassed by Valley Credit Services, Inc. have sued the company to protect their rights.

Alleged Violations against Valley Credit Services, Inc.

David Mumma vs. Valley Credit Services, Inc. et al*

According to PACER, beginning in or around June 2013, and continuing through July 2013, Valley Credit Services, Inc. attempted to collect a medical debt from Pennsylvania resident David Mumma. Mr. Mumma later complained that he was called by Valley Credit Services, Inc. at least once a day using an automated/pre-recorded message, making it impossible for him to speak with a live person.

In addition, Valley Credit Services, Inc. also allegedly disguise its identity, publishing “UNKNOWN NAME 000-000-0000” on Mr. Mumma’s caller ID. He only learned that the caller was a collection agency by listening to the messages on his voicemail. When he requested validation of the debt, it allegedly never arrived.

Feeling harassed by Valley Credit Services, Inc., Mr. Mumma hired a consumer attorney and sued the company for the following alleged FDCPA violations:
