Are You Being Called By Revenue Enterprises, LLC?*

Many consumers in the United States are harassed by debt collectors, sometimes for debts that they don’t even owe. Even if your debt is legitimate, collection agencies are legally prohibited from harassing you to recoup it.

Alleged Violations against Revenue Enterprises, LLC

According to PACER, on or about June 18, 2010, Revenue Enterprises, LLC sent a collection letter to a Colorado consumer seeking payment for a medical debt. The letter, which was introduced as an exhibit, appeared to identify multiple creditors and account numbers, making it hard for her to understand what she owed and to who.

Feeling harassed by Revenue Enterprises, LLC, she obtained legal advice before suing the company for:

  • Misrepresenting the character, amount, or legal status of the debt
  • Using false, deceptive, and misleading means to collect a debt
  • Trying to collect an amount not permitted by law or the original creditor agreement

The matter was later dismissed.
