According to PACER, in or around March 2018, Global Receivables began contacting a Nebraska consumer to collect a debt owed by his wife. On March 22, 2018, he told the company that the debt had been discharged in bankruptcy, but the calls allegedly continued, some of them at his workplace.

Feeling harassed by Global Receivables Solutions, the consumer sued the company for allegedly:

  • Calling him at work after being told to stop
  • Using harassing and abusive means to collect a debt
  • Using unfair and unconscionable means to collect a debt

The Two parties dismissed the matter on a later date.
