According to PACER, in or around April 2016, a California couple checked their credit report and found that Flagship Credit Acceptance, LLC was reporting a debt. The husband called to request validation of the debt, but it allegedly was not until May 10 that they received paperwork that the couple claimed was insufficient. They also claimed that company agents attempted to illegally repossess their vehicle.

Feeling harassed by Flagship Credit Acceptance, LLC, the couple got a free case review from a consumer lawyer and sued the agency for:

● Failing to properly validate the debt
● Using misleading means to collect a debt
● Reporting inaccurate information to the credit bureaus.

The matter was later settled.

Flagship has contacted people I only know through my social media account. No personal affiliation whatsoever. They have contacted random people which have nothing to do with my personal life and discussed a “debt account” with them.

We purchased a 2016 Ford escape from Finley Ford Las Vegas NV for 16,000 we traded in a Ford F350 turbo diesel and we didn't get any credit for the truck I have paid over $17,000 plus gave the F350 as a trade in we just had an accident and the insurance totaled the vehicle. They are paying flagship $8200 and flagship says we owe 10,000 still. They have threatened us with repo session for the past year but they don't ever get the car. We are both disabled my husband is a Vietnam veteran and is 100% disabled veteran and I am disabled with 2 fake hips and a total shoulder replacement. Flagship has extorted us for years now and they are going to get the money for the loss of the vehicle and we don't get anything and still will owe them over $2000. Now I'm not going to get any of the money from the insurance and I don't have any money for a replacement vehicle. Is there anything you can do to help us out with the amount of money we've already paid the F350 we never got any money or credit for the truck and now what the insurance is going to pay them $8200 and they say I still owe $2000 according to flagship. They have been ruining our credit by their reporting and they have been harassing us for years now. I hope you can help us out because we can't do anything without a car especially when we are both disabled. Please let me know if there is anything you can do to get me some of the money for the loss of the vehicle. Thanks
