I recently searched on the website for set off program in Kansas and discovered this company District Court CBK Inc is listed as a creditor with no amount owed but instead says not available. Then the set off program Kansas website states to me,” The Setoff Program does not have any information regarding your Federal Income Tax refund. Please contact the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regarding your Federal Income Tax refund. However, when I call to check the status of my refund it says it’s being process, when I call the KDOA which was the information I received for the debts I supposedly owe by calling the Treasury offset hotline they state that I am at risk for being set off but then tell me to call KDOA. So I keep getting pushed in this loop of no return. I tried visiting the website for CBK inc and it’s not safe to enter the site due to not using HTTP or something. Is someone trying to take my return or what’s happening. CBK doesn’t have good reviews and I’m worried to contact them at this point thinking if they have anymore personal details of mine they might try taking my return for something I do not owe or wasn’t aware that owe to the extent of taking my return. I don’t know what to do. Please advise.
