According to PACER, on or about February 18, 2014, Trinity Financial Services, LLC sent a collection letter to a Pennsylvania consumer, stating that she owed $106,441.08. She believed that this amount was incorrect, so she sent the company a letter, by certified mail, requesting
validation and verification of the debt.

Instead of providing the information, Trinity Financial Services, LLC allegedly sent a second collection letter stating she now owed $110,650.99.

Feeling harassed by Trinity Financial Services, LLC, the consumer sued the agency for allegedly violating her rights in the following ways:

  • Failing to send a debt validation letter
  • Continuing collection efforts even after she requested validation

The matter was later dismissed.

Trinity Financial Services said I owed them a debt they are forclosing on my home I have proof that I didn't owe them anything from my tax forms I filed a law suit against them in Las Vegas Nevada non judicial state and the judge is Don Madden friend and 2 days before I was to be in court judge made had made a judgement for Trinity because I wanted a jury trial Trinity had no proof I owed them a debt The judge ask there attorney where did he get that paper work Trinity attorney responded that he made it up it's on my court summary slot of things Trinity does is attack the people of color and the elderly
