Personal circumstances often lead to debts often as a result of not being able to raise enough cash to pay back a loan installment on time.
This is when the creditor starts to get annoyed and contacts a debt collection company like Monarch Recovery Management, Inc that sends out debt collectors to debtors’ homes to encourage them to repay their debts.
A once only visit by a debt collector is sufficient to remind the debtor of his/her obligations. Fortunately, the federal government offers some protection to debtors through the Federal Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) which does not permit any 3rd party debt collector from harassing debtors through repeated home visits and continuous phone calls.
What is the FDCPA?
The Federal Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) is the federal legislation which regulates the activities of debt collection agencies like Monarch Recovery Management, Inc. is allowed to do when one of its debt collectors approaches a debtor on behalf of a client.
The FDCPA doesn’t have the authority to prevent a debt being collected but it regulates the behavior of the debt collector. It prevents debt collectors from acting in an abusive manner when approaching a debtor and limits repeated visits and calls made by the debt collector.
If a debt collection company such as Monarch Recovery Management, Inc. abuses its position the debtor may be able to sue the collector for damages as long as the action takes place within one year of the violation.
What is and What is Not Acceptable Behavior for Monarch Recovery Management, Inc
Monarch Recovery Management, Inc. is an official debt collection service. Clients pay for its services so they can recover debts that are owed to them.
